Eng.Mohammed Abosido, the society’s executive manager, said that this project, from which more than 160 families have benefited, aims to alleviate the suffering of the poor due to the siege conditions and to provide basic food needs during the holy month of Ramadan.
The distribution was supervised by the manager of the society, who stressed that this distribution comes to enhance the steadfastness of the families under siege, and it is a part of the social responsibility of the society towards these marginalized and needy groups.
For his side, Mr. AK, the breadwinner of a family of 8 individuals, expressed his thanks to Rawad Society that is looking for the needs of the poor and needy people in this holy month. He pointed out that the food parcel fulfilled a large part of the basic needs of his family.
