Within Rowad Society for Social Development has started implementing project of safe lighting in different areas in the Gaza Strip, with generous support for the Omani Civil Initiative to support Palestine.

 Mr.Rabah Bakhit, the society’s Chairman of the Board of the Directors, said that this project targets more than 120 home that suffer from difficult living conditions such as the inability of buying and installing safe lighting.

Rowad provides the targeted families with led lighting devices. For his part, Eng. Mohammed Abu Sido "the society’s manager, said that Rowad is interested in supporting the Palestinian families, strengthening their resilience and carried out many projects in this domain due to the continued power outages for more than 8 hours per day and the occurrence of many accidents and fires due to the use of candles, which led to the death and burning of many families and children The benefited families expressed their deep gratitude to the Omani initiative and Omani people and the king of Oman Qaboos Bin Said for their generous and continued support to the Palestinian people besieged in Gaza.
