Newborn per 10 minutes, 4676 newborns in Gaza during November

 The Gaza Strip has witnessed the birth of 4676 newborn during the last November with an average of 156 newborn per day which means there is a newborn each 10 minutes.


According to the Information Center of the General Directorate for Information Systems and Computer of the Interior Ministry in Gaza, the proportion of male newborns  has increased the proportion of female ones by 2%  as there are 2430 male newborn with average of 52% and 2246 female newborn with average of 48%.


The Civil Status Department of the internal governorate of Gaza indicates that 1680 newborn have been recorded in Gaza office while 988 newborn have been recorded in Khanyounis office.

 

Regarding the North office, 829 newborn have been recorded and 664 newborn have been recorded in Al-Wosta office where 515 newborn have been recorded in Rafah.
