Within the general policy of partnership and institutional networking, Rowad Society for Social Development received a delegation from Mercy Indonesia, Gaza office, including : Mr.Rizza, the institution ‘s representative and his assistant, Mr. Mohammed Hussin and they were welcomed by Eng.Mohammed Abosido, the society’s manager and Mr.Mohammed Alnono, the projects’ coordinator of Rowad.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr.Abosido talked about the history of Rowad, it’s programs, projects that were implemented during the previous years, the strategic plans of the society in the next 5 years that aim to help the largest possible number of poor and needy in the Gaza Strip. He also said that Rowad has implemented projects of the poor families fund and Tamkeen fun for the free-interest loan.

He called the visiting delegation to support such projects as they have great impact on the social development and advancement of economic and living life. At the end of the meeting, the delegation was accompanied bt rowad staff to make filed visits to some areas and houses that are supervised by Rowad society in the west of the Gaza Strip. For their side, the delegation of Indonesia Mercy expressed their deep gratitude for Rowad for the generous hospitality and reception expressing their appreciation to Rowad’s performance and efforts in helping the marginalized and poor families in the Gaza Strip.

The delegation has also undertaken studying the possibility of partnership and cooperation with Rowad in projects that support the steadfastness of Gazans and alleviate their burdens.
